Traffic Light System
Today my group and I created a DLO about traffic light system. The traffic light system is sort of a paragraph, topic sentence (start), elaborating (middle) and closing (ending), these are the three names for the paragraph. All of them are mixed so we tried to find out which one goes first.

It’s Leslie here, writing to you from Canada where it’s very cold and snowy. Hard for you to imagine, I’m sure! I’m a member of the Summer Learning Journey team and I notice that you and your group have created a really neat DLO and posted it on your blog.
I think you might really enjoy some of the Summer Learning Journey activities because they give you opportunities to be creative, making a poster or picture, telling a story or writing a poem. And there's lots of information about the unusual and unique animals and plants that live in your beautiful country, and about the amazing things some people have chosen to do.
