Collaborative Problem Solving

Today my partner and I did a DLO(Digital Learning Object) I found some of the problems a bit hard because there was pattern we had to solve. To improve I would like to know my times tables and the rest of the strategy.

Today in the first block, we did a Collaborative Problem Solving in groups of six. I am in gruop one, we then finished solving the problems and now we have to do a DLO (Digitial Learning Object) I found some questions a bit hard to solve, because I wasn't very good at algorithm. But doing this problem helped me alot to gain more knowledge! And I enjoyed it very much.

Today in the first session we did a Collaborative Problem Solving in groups of six. This problem was really difficult to try and solve because there was more numbers and there was more names than last time. This(the questions) was really hard to figure out and how we found the answer was by communicating with each other. To improve, I would like to know more about the strategy(the 2nd slide bottom left) and how to solve problems like that.

E-ako maths

Today in the first session we have done this maths activitie, it is called e-ako. In this site it has different levels, the level I'm using is level four and five, this site it has Geometry, Number facts, Problem solving, Multiplicative thinking and other different actives. DLO: Collaborative Problem Solving

Today Ana and I did a DLO about Collaborative Problem Solving. As you can see I tried to solve an problem, the problem was kinda hard so I got a bit of help from my friend. Let try and solve a problem, let try 12 x 87. First split the 87 to 80 and 7. Next you do 12 x 80 = 960 and then you do 12 x 7 = 84. After that you plus 960 and 84 together you will get 1044 and  1044 is your answer.  

Prototec reslut

Today for maths room 6 and I did a prototec time test, as you can see I got 97%. I found this easy because I learnt how to do my percentages and my fractions. To improve I want to learn how to do my time tables and next time I hope I could get 100%.
